HAGIT
GLICKMAN, Ph.D., CEO, a nationally recognized
innovative thinker, CEO advisor, and successful executive. Dr. Glickman's primary focus is on assisting venture capital
backed biotech, technology and healthcare related companies in effectively managing
change as it relates to human capital needs. Her expertise is in collaborating with
investors, boards, CEOs and senior management teams in identifying critical organizational
issues and implementing pathways that lead to success and increase the company's
value. As a trained psychologist and experienced diagnostician and previous CEO,
Dr. Glickman brings decades of hands on insight, knowledge, and humanistic expertise

companies during her career, and has consulted

She founded and served as CEO of MyPsych.com,
which was one of the first companies accepted
into the internationally acclaimed "Women's
Technology Cluster" in Silicon Valley.
MyPsych.com was created by Dr. Glickman to serve
patients and clinical providers with an interactive
online clinical support web portal. Her innovation
and leadership has been recognized in Forbes
ASAP, Salon.com, U.S. News & World Report,
CNNfn, and Inc., magazines. As a licensed psychologist,
Dr. Glickman brings unique insights into serving
EiG business clients. For many years, she has
been serving as a consultant to business leaders,
CEOs and behavioral health practitioners regarding
the intricacies of start-ups, sharing her "hands
on" entrepreneur expertise to assist individuals
and companies in defining and achieving personal
and professional success. Dr. Glickman focuses
on managing the “human” aspect of
company and individual challenges to achieve
winning and innovative solutions. Clinically,
Dr. Glickman is the founder of a free-standing
clinic which is focused on conducting complex
psychological evaluations as well as training
the next generation of psychologists to conduct
these evaluations. In addition, she has served
as an expert witness in trauma, child abuse
and custody cases. She holds a degree from University
of California - Irvine in Psychology. She also
holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the
Pacific Graduate School of Psychology.

| MICHAEL
RYAN, MBA, FACHE, Chairman,
has more than 25 years of leadership experience
and expertise in e-health, technology and management.
A seasoned CEO, he has successfully led medical
centers, e-health technology companies and consulting
firms. He is an expert both in starting up and
turning around companies with complex difficulties.
He has consulted with a wide range of world-class
health companies, Fortune 100 and start-ups companies
internationally. Michael served as the founding
CEO of EnerLook Healthcare Solutions in Florida;
was a CEO within the $20 billion HealthTrust (NYSE:
HCA); CEO of TransCare Healthcare; and COO of
Ryan Advisors, an international healthcare consulting
firm - one of the first in the country. He served
10 years as a senior executive with the $10 billion
Daughters of Charity National Health System (now
Ascension Health) the largest not-for-profit health
system in the US, and was instrumental in the
success of turning around a hospital from $18
million in losses to $3 million in gains in 2
years. During his career, he has been involved
in the start-up of more than 30 successful companies
including serving as CEO of a $25 million healthcare
company and vice president of administration for
a $300 million holding company in Florida. He
has served as an advisor, director and consultant
to numerous companies and organizations including
the Women's Technology Cluster in San Francisco,
Aquave, American Red Cross, United Way, American
Hospital Association and The White House. He has
successfully guided startup and established companies
in strategic development, sales, and fundraising.
He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare
Executives (ACHE). He is a board certified healthcare
executive and a licensed health and life agent.
He holds an MBA from The George Washington University
and degrees in Communications and International
Relations from Regis University. He has served
as a lecturer and preceptor at The George Washington
University, Vanderbilt University, University
of Florida, Tulane, University of Louisiana, Georgetown
University, and University of California.

ROBERT FISHER, MD, MSPH is an EiG Executive Advisor who has had remarkable success in leadership development over the past 15 years. Prior to his business career he was in an active psychiatric practice in California and New Mexico for 14 years and still maintains his medical license in both states.
In his business consultation practice he has worked with senior leaders from Fortune 100 and 500 companies, startups, pre and post IPOs. He has worked with family businesses on a range of issues from leadership to large trust dissolution. His work in conflict resolution, developing leaders and their companies to produce startling and strong outcomes is noted throughout the industry. His focus on health care has brought senior leaders, their hospitals and institutions to high levels of performance. His insights have been invaluable to medical and business leaders in health care where Dr. Fisher’s acumen in leadership and organizations intersect with his background and training in medicine.

| Philip Chase, M.D., is an EIG Medical Advisor with a 30 year career in the management of hospital-based physician medical groups. He has three decades of clinical emergency medicine experience in addition to serving as senior vice president and CIO for TeamHealth West, a $150 million affiliate of $1.7 billion national physician-led emergency medicine, hospitalist, radiology and anesthesiology company. Phil developed hospital-based physician groups for emergency medicine, occupational and urgent care, negotiating service contracts with client hospitals, hiring and managing physicians and also serving on the company’s professional liability risk management team. He implemented innovative documentation systems and developed provider evaluation tools in working with hospital clients to improve patient care processes and implement triage and patient evaluation systems. He co-founded and managed Chase Dennis Medical Group that developed seven Northern California regional hospital contracts with over on hundred physician providers. Dr. Chase graduated from Harvard, and New York University School of Medicine (MD and Ph.D.) |
RONALD PION, M.D.
is EiG’s Medical Advisor, bringing more than
40 years of experience and expertise in medicine.
He is a nationally recognized pioneer in healthcare
technology, telemedicine and ehealth. His passion
is identifying and assisting companies which improve
the patient’s health status and disease management
by leveraging new technologies. He has had an illustrious
career as a doctor, educator and entrepreneur. Ron
is an experienced medical clinician who has been actively
involved in the education of healthcare professionals
and patients for the past 30+ years. Ron was the founder
of Hospital Satellite Network (HSN), the nation’s
first daily satellite-delivered television service
providing programming for hospital-based health professionals
and patients. Ron has worked in the development and
production of television, radio and other interactive
programming for healthcare professionals and for patients/consumers
for more than three decades. He was a member of the
turnaround team at Abbey Healthcare Group, Inc. where
he served on Board of Directors until its merger with
Homedco. In 1996, he founded Medical Telecommunications
Associates, Inc. (MTA), a provider of advanced telecommunications
services to healthcare markets nationwide. Dr. Pion
graduated from New York University (BS, Phi Beta Kappa)
and New York Medical College (MD. Alpha Omega Alpha).
He is Clinical Professor at the UCLA School of Medicine,
a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians
and Gynecologists and served on the board of the American
Academy of Home Care Physicians. He has served on
the faculties of the University of Washington and
the University of Hawaii.
RON
GOFF provides EiG with his experience and his
long-term productive relationships in the healthcare
industry. Over the last 25 years, he has built, managed
and sold contract service companies and their service
lines on behalf of physician group practices and hospital
systems across the U.S. and Europe. Recently he has
been founder and President and Director of Mdexchange
that was acquired by Dictaphone Corporation. He has
been Executive Vice President of $150 million NES Healthcare
and NES International. He was Chairman and CEO of PhysicianOne
Medical Management,Chairman and CEO of MDBillmasters,
Inc., and EVP of Sheridan Healthcare/AMSA, Inc. In addition
he served as Group Vice President of $1.5 billion Andrx
Pharmaceuticals and four public companies, including
MediConsult, Physicians On-Line Inc., AHT Technologies
and Cybear. Ron is accomplished at building high-growth
businesses with multi-state locations in both the product
and service sectors and the managing of multiple sales
teams and marketing initiatives and personal unit sales.
Recognized for broad strengths in business development,
sales closures, strategic planning, turnaround management,
financial restructuring, sales management and building
National Sales Teams. Ron offers a record of success
in generating profits and increased shareholder value
through establishing strategic partnerships and personal
unit sales both here and abroad. His Masters is from
The Johns Hopkins University. Ron has also attended
Harvard’s Executive Development program and served
as adjunct professor at the Wharton School of Business-University
of Pennsylvania and is a former US Marine.
HADVA
GLICKMAN, is an EiG Advisor for Eldercare services
and Aging. Hadva has more than 30 years experience in
the healthcare industry as a CEO, facility owner/executive,
clinical provider and eldercare consultant. During her
career she has developed, owned and managed numerous
eldercare facilities, departments and hospital programs
to meet the special needs of the growing geriatric population.
For a decade she founded and served as Administrator
of Executive Home Care in Woodland Hills, California.
As a registered dietitian, she has served as clinical
director for a 200-bed nursing and rehabilitation facility
in Los Angeles. In addition, Hadva founded a regional
referral and placement service company for elderly clients.
She has extensive experience, knowledge and insights
consulting with numerous Convalescent, Nursing Homes,
Assisted Living, and Board and Care Facilities in California
and nationally. She has developed large eldercare networks,
relationships and contracts with facilities and administrators
to represent and market their facilities. Hadva is a
licensed Administrator, Care Facility for the Elderly
by the State of California, Department of Social Services
and she speaks, reads, writes and translates Hebrew.
THOMAS
J. BUCKHOLTZ, Ph.D., is an EiG Advisor in the
areas of technology, strategy and organizational outcomes.
He has 30 years experience as a corporate executive,
strategist, technology innovator, author, and speaker.
He has served in leadership positions with PG&E,
GSA, World Bank, Silicon Valley World Internet Center
and Silicon Valley television. As an innovator, he directed
operations for high-tech start-ups, helped pioneer three
technologies including multi-participant computer games
and simulations, automated libraries of document images,
and hand-held computers. As a Commissioner in the US
GSA, he led a $1 billion telecommunications and systems
integration business unit, oversaw $20 billion per year
of computing and telecommunications procurement, and
served as co-chief information officer for the federal
government’s Executive Branch and also as GSA’s
CIO. Tom’s book Information Proficiency: Your
Key to Information Age (English, Chinese, and Korean
editions) provides a roadmap for the Information Age
and features techniques for, and inspirational successes
at, enhancing decision-making, leadership, processes,
teamwork, learning, and the contributions of information
systems and technologists. He is co-host for Issues
Today, a Silicon Valley television program and he is
profiled in Who’s Who in America and Who’s
Who in the World. As a National Science Foundation Graduate
Fellow, Tom earned a Ph.D. in physics from the University
of California, Berkeley and a B.S. in mathematics from
the California Institute of Technology. He also completed
executive business administration programs at Stanford
University and the University.
BRENT
HENLEY is an advisor with EiG. Brent is a practicing
Industrial Psychologist emphasizing performance technology
for rapidly changing businesses. He assists clients
in increasing performance through people in sales, customer
service, supervision, and leadership. He completed his
undergraduate work in Sociology and Business from Centenary
College of Louisiana, and his graduate studies at Louisiana
Tech University. He is a Fellow of the Government Leadership
Institute at the University of New Orleans, as well
as, leading sessions at the Community Development Institute
and several regional universities.
CAROL
BRYDEN MOORE, MBA, is EiG Advisor for Federal
Services & Strategy Development specializing in
strategic planning, program evaluations and operational
leadership. She has 30 years experience working with
health care organizations in the areas of strategic
planning, program evaluation, process improvement, economic
impact evaluation, and capital decision modeling. Ms.
Moore has provided services to federal and state agencies
including Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services
(CMS), multi-hospital systems (Duke Health System, Innova
Health, academic medical institutions, specialty hospital
providers (RehabCare Group), and community based institutions.
Ms. Moore was a senior manager for SAIC, directing a
national health care project for the Department of Defense
and Booz- Allen & Hamilton where she was involved
in a national assessment for the National Institute
of Health. She serves on the board of directors of several
organizations, including the Volunteers of America National
Services, Inc., Medstar Health/Visiting Nurses Association,
and BB&T Bank. Ms. Moore has an undergraduate degree
in biochemistry/mathematics from Monmouth College, and
an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School
of Business.
CARL YANKOWSKI Carl is an EiG Advisor with extensive experience in leading public
companies and providing expertise to global corporations on change transformation,
leadership and growth. He served as CEO of Palm, Inc. (PALM) and Reebok, COO/President
of Sony Electronics, and executive roles at GE, P&G and Pespi-Cola. He is founder
of Westerham Group and has degrees from MIT and Wellesley College.
RICHARD C. HSU Mr. Hsu is a Partner at the law firm of Townsend and Townsend and
Crew LLP in Palo Alto and Chair of the firm's Technology Transactions Practice.
He has extensive experience in licensing, development, acquisitions, service, purchase
and other partnering agreements for a variety of industries, including semiconductors,
life sciences, medical devices, hardware, software, nanotechnology, entertainment,
multimedia and telecommunications. Prior to joining Townsend, Mr. Hsu was a Senior
Attorney at Venture Law Group and former general counsel at Cyrano Sciences, Inc.
(acquired by Smiths Detection), a venture-backed company founded by Caltech Nobel
Laureate Robert H. Grubbs. Mr. Hsu holds degrees from Columbia Law School (JD) and
Caltech (BS). |
